All About JEE ADVANCED.

          JEE Advanced 2025 will be organized by one of seven Zonal Coordinating IITs on behalf of Joint Admission Board (JAB). JEE Advanced is a national level entrance exam to get admission in Bachelor’s, Integrated Master’s or Bachelor-Master Dual Degree. In 2024, the exam was conducted by the IIT, Kanpur.

          Through this exam, candidates can get admission in Engineering, Sciences or Architecture courses. Candidates can get the complete information of JEE Advanced 2025 in this article.

JEE Advanced Paper Pattern: Paper 1

  • The duration of the exam was 3 hours (Max. 183 marks) and there were total 54 questions.
  • Paper 1 was divided into three parts and there were three sections in each part (Max. marks 61).

  • There were total 7 questions in Sec 1 with 4 options in which either 1 option or more than 1 options were correct. For each correct response, the students were awarded 1 mark and 4 marks in case if all the options were marked correctly. In the case of the wrong answer, 2 marks were deducted. There was no negative marking for an unattempted question.
  • There were 5 questions in Sec 2 with correct response being a single-digit integer from 0 to 9 both inclusive. For each correct response, the students were awarded 3 marks and there was no negative marking in this section.
  • There were 6 matching type questions in JEE Advanced exam paper 1 Sec 3. In this section, there were 2 tables (having 4 rows & 3 columns). Out of 4 options, only 1 option was correct, with correct response being a single digit integer from 0-9. For each correct answer, the students were awarded 3 marks and in the case of every wrong answer, 1 mark was deducted. There was no negative marking for an unattempted question.

JEE Advanced Paper Pattern: Paper 2

  • The duration of the exam was 3 hours (Max. 183) and there were total 54 questions.

For each correct response, the students were awarded 1 mark and 4 marks in case if all the options were marked correctly. In the case of every wrong answer, 2 marks were deducted. There was no negative marking for an unattempted question.
  • There were 2 paragraphs in JEE Advanced Paper 2 Sec 3 and each paragraph had 2 questions in it. Each question had 4 options with only 1 option being correct. For each correct answer, the students were awarded 3 marks, There was no negative marking in this section.
